The City-Shuttle Aschaffenburg comes at just the right time

The city shuttle comes to you on demand and takes you directly to your desired destination within the city of Aschaffenburg.

When: Sundays and public holidays from 6 a.m. to 1 a.m

 

No more searching for a parking space with the city shuttle

In contrast to the regular buses, the vehicles of the city shuttle do not run according to a timetable with a fixed frequency, but only after the passenger has ordered them. The routes are not fixed in advance, but result from the travel requests of the passengers. Stops are only approached if there is actually an order. Similar travel requests are combined and processed with one vehicle. Several passengers thus share a vehicle. A program optimizes the route in real time so that you always take the fastest route to your destination. This protects the environment and your purse.

 

The city shuttle makes life in Aschaffenburg easier

The city shuttle makes you mobile. The stops include all bus stops in Aschaffenburg (including districts) and so-called virtual stops. The virtual stops supplement the bus stop network, so that in large parts of the city the distance between stops is around 250 meters. The footpaths to and from the bus stops are therefore very short.

 

That's how it works:

1. Download the City-Shuttle Aschaffenburg app and register with your name, mobile number, email address and a cashless payment method.

2. Enter a start and destination address. When ordering a ride, you must also specify the desired departure time and the number of people. We will show you immediately which city shuttle can pick you up when and where.

3. Book your ride. We use the app to navigate you to a nearby bus stop where you will be picked up. This stop can also be purely virtual and will be shown to you on the map on your mobile phone. You can follow live exactly where your vehicle is on the way to you.

4. Pay in the app. You can store your desired payment method directly in the app and pay conveniently. A ride costs 2 euros per person or reduced e.g. B. with a season ticket only 1 euro. Small children up to and including the age of 5 travel free of charge when accompanied by a supervisor.

5. When you arrive at your destination, the city shuttle will take you to a (virtual) stop near your destination. From there we will navigate you via app to your final destination. Finally, you can give us feedback and rate the offer via the app.
